We are closely monitoring flash flood concerns and know some roads have already been affected. If you are concerned that where you live may become impassable or of other hazardous road conditions, you may come get your child and it will not be counted against them. If your child is a bus rider, please let their driver know of any unsafe road conditions near your home. Our hope is that the rain will stop and begin descending by the release of school. Safety is our number one priority and will continue to monitor the situation.
ELEMENTARY-
Forms are going home this week for the dental sealant program with Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Even if you do not wish for your child to participate in the program held at the school on February 7th, please complete the form and send it back. Any class who has 100% of their forms turned in receives a goody bag for themselves and their teacher. Thank you for your participation!

Make-up days for inclement weather closure will be on February 28th and March 21st. Attendance will be taken.
School will resume as usual tomorrow. If your road is unsafe to travel and you are a bus rider, please notify your bus driver. Anyone unable to attend school due to unsafe road conditions will be counted as an excused absence. We want to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

IMPORTANT: There will be a delay on all buses that go on HWY 70 and 278 due to a situation on the highway. The drivers of these buses include Jeff Tipton, Joey Morris and Deidre Dove. We will release the buses as soon as we receive notice from officials. If you have any questions or concerns, please call 870-451-4680.
Flu clinic forms have been sent home. If you want a flu shot for your kid, but didn't receive a form, they are available in the office and due back by Friday. The clinic is Tuesday, October 15th.

Lockesburg bus route: Road construction is complete. Effective Tuesday, August 27, the bus will pick up and drop off students at the regular pickup and drop-off location.

Lockesburg bus route: Due to road construction, the bus will now pickup and drop off students at 138 North Park Avenue in Lockesburg. This is temporary. We will notify you as soon as we are able to resume the regular pickup and drop off location.
The high school gym is closed until tomorrow for painting.
