Due to potential weather moving in on Monday April 11th, the softball and baseball game times at Magnet Cove have been changed. The softball game will start at 3:30 and the baseball game will now start at 3:45.
The jr. high track meet scheduled for Tuesday April 12th at Ashdown has been moved to Monday April 11th with field events starting at 2:30. Also, the baseball game scheduled for April 12th at Mt. Ida has been canceled.
Due to wet field conditions in Poyen, the baseball game scheduled for today is cancelled. The baseball and softball teams will now play at Poyen on March 30th @ 4:30.
All families are invited to attend parent-teacher conferences Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4:00-6:30pm. Families of elementary students are asked to come through the cafeteria to check for lost and found items and visit our booths that will be set up.
Reminder: A public meeting will be held tonight at 7:00p.m. to discuss 2022-2023 school calendar options . The meeting will be held on the campus of JoAnn Walters Elementary in the gym.

The regional basketball tournament games scheduled for today have been postponed until tomorrow, February 24th.
Parents/Patrons, in an effort to have better traffic flow on the Dierks High School campus, we ask if you are picking your student up in the student pick up area to please exit around the building. This will be in place for the duration of the 2A South Regional Basketball Tournament in the afternoon only.
According to the Arkansas Activities Association, all regional basketball tickets must be purchased through the Go Fan app or by clicking on the link that is provided. There will be no cash sales of tickets at the door. Also, only AAA passes will be accepted. No local passes can be honored.

Happy Valentine's Day! Please remember no deliveries should be made after noon today. Glass and balloons are not permitted on school buses. Arrangements should be made for high school students receiving deliveries who have to leave early for this afternoon's ball game.
Tonight’s basketball games at Foreman have been rescheduled for Tuesday February 8th with sr high only starting at 5:30. Tomorrow’s games at Mountain Pine are still scheduled as planned with games starting at 6:00. The jr. high basketball teams will play Monday in the Jr. High District Tournament at Caddo Hills with the jr. boys playing at 5:15 and jr. high girls will follow at 6:30.
In an effort to ensure the safety of our students and staff, the Dierks School District will be closed on Friday, February 4th due to the forecast of low temperatures that will result in freezing surfaces and roadways. Both the elementary and high school students are to complete their AMI assignments for this day.

Parents/Patrons: Dierks High School will be repairing the surface of our parking lot in front of the high school entrance. Please park on the west side of the building where the buses load and unload and walk around to the front entrance to check in the office. Please do not drive around the building. Exit through the newly paved parking lot by the baseball and softball fields for easier traffic flow. Sorry for the inconvenience.
